Welcome to AIRCOOL. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and your purchase of products from our store (together, the "Services"). By using the Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Please provide accurate, current, and complete information and keep it up to date.

3. Products & Descriptions

We make every effort to display our products, specifications, and images as accurately as possible. However, minor variations may occur, and we do not guarantee that your screen's display of colours or dimensions is exact. Cooling capacity guidance (e.g. BTU-to-room-size recommendations) is provided in good faith as general guidance only; actual performance depends on factors such as insulation, ceiling height, sunlight, and ambient temperature.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges, if any, are shown before you confirm your order. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors; if we discover an error in the price of an item you have ordered, we will contact you and give you the option to reconfirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. Payment is processed securely by our payment providers; we do not store your full card details. Promotional discount codes cannot be combined unless expressly stated and have no cash value.

5. Orders & Acceptance

Your order is an offer to purchase. We accept your order when we send you a shipping confirmation. We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where we suspect fraud, where a product is unavailable, or where there has been a pricing or listing error. If we cancel after payment, you will receive a full refund.

6. Delivery, Risk & Ownership

Delivery terms are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes when we have received payment in full.

7. Returns, Refunds & Warranty

Our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms, sets out your 30-day money-back guarantee, your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (UK/EU), and our 2-year warranty. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, including rights relating to goods that are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.

8. Safe Use of Products

Air conditioning units are electrical appliances. Always read and follow the user manual before installation and use. Units must be connected to a suitable, properly earthed mains supply, kept clear of obstructions, and never modified. Split-system units requiring refrigerant work must be installed by a qualified engineer where required by law. We are not responsible for damage or injury resulting from installation or use contrary to the manual or applicable regulations.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Services — including text, graphics, logos, images, product descriptions, and site design — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or exploit any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with the site's operation, scraping content, placing fraudulent orders, or using the Services for any unlawful purpose.

11. Reviews & User Content

If you submit reviews, comments, or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with the Services. You are responsible for what you submit; do not post anything unlawful, misleading, defamatory, or infringing.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. As a consumer, you benefit from mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you reside, and nothing in these Terms affects those rights.

14. Events Beyond Our Control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, strikes, extreme weather, or supply shortages. We will notify you of any material delay and you may cancel affected orders for a full refund.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place your order applies to that order. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. If you are a consumer, you may also rely on the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
